Vivo Unveils X80 Series, Two Chipset Options for X80 Pro
Chinese smartphone brand vivo unveiled its latest X80 series on Monday in China, including the vanilla X80 and the X80 Pro. The highlight of the launch conference was a choice of chipsets in the higher end model, the X80 Pro. Customers can choose between the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship SoCs. Except the X80 series, the company also announced the mid-range S15e smartphone.
Vivo’s X80 series delivers cinematic style video modes in collaboration with ZEISS, a global leader in optics and opto-electronics. The series also includes ZEISS Natural Color 2.0 aided by the series’ first AI Perception Engine to improve color accuracy and facilitate color changing and brightness during a shoot.
