OPPO Reno8 Series Unveiled, Pro Version Adapts Snapdragon 7 Gen 1
The OPPO Reno8 series launched in China on Monday. The lineup comprises the Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+. The Reno8 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 which was just released by Qualcomm last Friday. Alongside the new smartphones, OPPO also announced the OPPO Pad Air and OPPO Enco R.

OPPO Pad Air
Equipped with Snapdragon 680 chipset, the OPPO Pad Air weighs 440 grams and is pretty slim at just 6.94m. Starting with the display, the Pad Air sports a smaller 10.36-inch 2K LTPS LCD display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. As for the cameras, it has a single 8MP (f/2.0) camera on the rear with an 80-degree FOV. There’s a 5MP (f/2.2) sensor on the front for taking selfies. Moreover, the OPPO Pad Air runs ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box. It also comes equipped with a 7100mAh battery and 18W fast-charging. The tablet is priced at 1299 yuan to 1699 yuan ($195 – 255).
OPPO Enco R
The company also launched a new pair of TWS earbuds called the OPPO Enco R. The earbuds support a half in-ear design and a 13.4mm driver, and offer users up to 20 hours of battery life. The earbuds also offer AI noise reduction during calls and support for touch controls. One highlight of the earbuds is that users can use these touch controls as a shutter button to take photos with their OPPO phones. They are priced at 299 yuan ($45) and will be available to buy from June 1 in China.
